Approach
The Green Branch develops reforestation and landscape restoration projects in Brazil. To increase biodiverse forest cover and the carbon stock, we make use of different project zones.
3 Level Intervention
Ecosystem restoration
Biological integrity is key to growing a healthy forest, so we prioritize the planting of biodiverse and native trees, allowing the ecosystem to return to its original state.
Mixed native forestry
We actively plant a combination of native biodiverse species with commercial species. The latter produce timber and forest products that generate additional revenue.

Agroforestry
Combining tree planting with agriculture emulates the native forestry systems. To help farmers achieve better yield from their systems, we use agroforestry models in our projects for food supply and social capital.

Long term sustainability
The different project zones generate various sources of income, which is key for long term sustainability. The land use diversification ensures continuous biomass stock and carbon permanence during and after the project period.

Take Action
Take action today by compensating your carbon footprint. We are always looking for new partners, farmers and heroes to help us grow our forests.
